How to use RegIntel Rota day-to-day, plus tips that aren't obvious from the UI.
Open Registry and add your branches, teams, staff, and clients. Each carer needs a payroll ID, role, and current Right-to-Work / DBS expiry dates so the rules engine has something to evaluate.
Go to Settings → Rules and enable the compliance checks the rules engine should run on every assignment. Each rule has BLOCK or WARN severity.
Open the Schedule page. It defaults to today and shows three columns — Needs you now (unassigned), Today's rota (carers + their visits), and Staff today (alphabetical, scrolls). The rules reel under the stats shows every rule's pass/warn/block state.
The publish gate (top-right of the Schedule page, also the leading card in the rules reel) blocks publish until rule failures are resolved. Click a failing rule or Resolve breach to drill into Publish where every block is listed with detail and actionable fixes.

A scheduled care session with a client. Has a time window, duration, location, and care requirements.
An automated check the engine runs on every assignment. Decisions are PASS, WARN, or BLOCK and are persisted for inspection.
A documented decision to publish despite a WARN. The reason is captured and signed into the audit chain.
A snapshot of all decisions and overrides for a date range, generated for CQC.
